Summer Concert Series: Tuesdays, at 7 to 8:30 p.m., Central Park; July 28, The Rampage Trio; Aug. 4, Music for All Ages; Aug. 11, Strike a Cord; Aug. 18, The Groove.
Summer Bus Trips: Martha’s Vineyard: Sunday, Aug 2, 7:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. Depart from Shaw’s parking lot. Trip includes a Martha’s Vineyard Island Tour, dinner at Old Country Buffet and a ride on the Island Queen Ferry. Cost is $89 per person
Clinton Block Dances: Thursdays through Aug. 13, Central Park, sponsored by the Clinton Police Relief Association.
Teen Adventure: Monday through Friday, through Aug. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (7:30 to 8:30 a.m. early care), at the Clinton Head Start Building. This program, for grades 6 through 9 (fall 2015), is a spin-off of the summer playground program. This program features two field trips per week, a variety of age-appropriate activities, the opportunity to go swimming and hang out with friends. Space is limited to 25 participants per week.
Total Body Workout: Tuesdays, from July 28 through Sept. 1, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Clinton Parks and Recreation Building. Boost your metabolism and burn more calories with this 60-minute class. Ages 15 and up. Cost is $72 per person.
Superhero Engineering: Monday, Aug. 17 through Friday, Aug. 21, 9 a.m. to noon, at the Clinton Parks and Recreation Building. Ages 5 to 7, $150 per person.
Master Superhero Engineering: Monday through Friday, Aug. 17 through 21, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Parks and Recreation Building. An engineering curriculum designed by Play-Well, for ages 8 to 11, cost is $150 per person.
Minecraft Mania: from Monday, Aug. 24 through Friday, Aug. 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Clinton Parks and Recreation Building, is a blend of virtual learning and companion hands-on activities that explore science and engineering. For students entering grades 1 though 5, full-day only, $280 per person.

Men’s Pick-up Basketball: Wednesdays, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Chocksett Middle School gym, for ages 19 and up. Pre-register with the Recreation Department or register at the gym. Registration must be completed before playing. Players should wear appropriate shoes and bring a basketball. Time and location subject to change due to weather, youth basketball and school schedules. Girls’ Pick-Up Basketball: Tuesdays, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at West Sterling field and courts. The program is open to girls in grades 6 to 8 and is free. Parent volunteer and supervisor, Kevin Christian, will provide some instruction, while facilitating games. Players should wear appropriate shoes and bring water. Basketballs will be provided.
