I'm curious what people personally consider "comfy" and re-watch on their own time. For me, Kenichi the mightiest disciple is what I've sunk the most hours into re-watching. I enjoy it because the combat is based on real-world martial arts but the overall "power" level is grounded in reality compared to other shounen. The world also isn't in danger from some big bad evil; it's more about overcoming adversity in your life through hard work as opposed to saving the world. That's why I keep coming back to it instead of shounen with heavy world-threatening consequences and crazy powers like FMA:B, Hunter x hunter, Naruto shippuden, etc. Kenichi is peak comfy shounen for me.

Though as far as times I've re-watched a show to completion I've probably seen Watamote about 4-5 times over. I find the cringe humor in watamote funny and Tomoko's social anxiety and inability to form connections with people endearing. Though I know other people dislike that show for those same reasons!

wow! I love koe no katachi but I can't fathom re-watching a melodrama that many times unless it's with friends maybe. General rule is that if it makes me sad or teary-eyed I'll rewatch it twice at most!

I haven't rewatched anything more than once yet tbh

But I could see my self rewatching haikyuu again and probably some others

I mean I guess haikyuu I've experienced the most since I read the manga from the start to finish when I've already watched it all twice

Strawberry Marshmallow. I rewatch it every year or so, it's my comfort show.

Dunno if this counts, but i've rewatched Yugiohs first 3 season a ton, but usually stop at the last 2 seasons.
My waifu is the most wonderful waifu. Mai Valentine.

We're freaking out that we're running out of time, but to do what? Should i stop and think of that? Is there something i could do to slow it down? Live in a day for once, instead of watch it sprinting by

Times rewatched, One punch man Season 1 (watched three or four times, in the same 2-3 months period. Also read the manga and webcomic). Second place would be something I rewatched once.

Most time spent rewatching: As of yet, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl series. Rewatching to remember stuff since I saw it so long ago.

Most comfy show to me: Tanaka-kun is always listless and Bananya. I might rewatch them, but only when I want to be in that mood and nothing I haven't seen yet (that I can think of) gives the same kind of feeling.

First Pokémon movie, had the VHS so it was running almost every day when I was a child.

As a series probably Toradora, I'm pretty sure I rewatched that more than 10 times but I didn't track it.

I'm also watching One Piece for the third time right now, always watched to the last available episode at that time and then restarted.

Well since I've created Mal I've rewatched Bleach for 15 times and now it is 16th time but I have it on-hold as I have no motivation to watch anime right now only seasonals sometimes I'll watch a single new episodes .

Can't tell how many times I've rewatched Bleach at all as sometimes I was rewatching few episodes or whole arc when I was bored at 2008-2015 so it is hard to track all of this, some arcs/moments I might have watched over 30-40 times.

No game No life at least 14-20 times.

Sword art Online (1-2 seasons) around 4 times.

Naruto as a whole I guess 2 times.

And I don't know if I've rewatched anything else so far.

I'll try to make approximations here, Blue Gender aired on animax 2 episodes per day on week days till it ended only to rerun it. Considering that I watched it all the time and I remember watching the ending episode specifically, I can say that I watched it there for 5 times.
Then I downloaded the anime and watched it in english dub one time cause I didn't find a jp sub torrent. Then I finally found one subbed and watched it one time. Then I found a BD rip and watched it two times. But in these intervals I am pretty sure that I rewatched it cause my anime catalogue was poor.
So I guess that the number of rewatches is 10

Diamond no Ace. I rarely rewatch anime but I already watched DnA for the fourth time and that makes it 3 times rewatching, and that's a LOT.

I did rewatched ReLIFE and Tower of God too but not complete rewatch.

- NOT your usual shounen anime
- Pure comedy? DEAD WRONG
- Treat Gintama as SoL/weekly sitcom especially earlier seasons
- Ep 1 & 2 are for manga readers

I currently still haven't re-watched anything, but I think Yuru Camp will probably easily become my most re-watched eventually... I'm already dying to rewatch it if I'm being honest but I feel like it would make a good end of the year re-watch.

I could honestly just see a handful of my favorites getting multiple re-watches eventually...

Now that you mention it, I do remember now. Last winter around Christmas time was definitely my 3rd re-watch. It's the one a couple years prior I wasn't absolutely certain of until you started hassling me about it, lol
